Privacy Policy

Reditus ("we", "us") helps couples reconnect using ideas from Attachment Theory and Emotionally Focused Therapy. We take your privacy seriously — your relationship data is private by default and only shared with the partner you choose to connect with. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We only collect what the app needs to work:
- Account: your email address and, if you sign in with Google or Apple, your name and profile photo. Passwords (for email sign-in) are stored securely by our authentication provider and are never visible to us.
- Couple link: the connection between you and your partner, created when one of you accepts an invitation.
- Check-ins: the mood, intensity, and any optional note you record, plus whether you marked a note as private.
- Attachment assessment: your responses and the resulting anxiety/avoidance scores and pattern.
- SOS sessions & conflict loops: the repair scripts and cycle notes you create.
- Saved library articles and basic usage timestamps.
We do not collect precise location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or payment information.
How we use your information
- To provide the core experience — check-ins, assessment, SOS tools, and the couple dashboard.
- To sync shared data between you and your connected partner in real time.
- To send transactional emails: partner invitations and, when you share a check-in, a notification to your partner. These are sent from our own mail server.
- To keep the service secure and working correctly.
We never sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
What your partner can see
When you connect with a partner, your mood and check-in activity are shared with them. A check-in notestays private unless you choose to share it. SOS scripts are yours until you tap "Share with partner." You control this on each entry.
Service providers
- Supabase — hosts our database and authentication. Data is protected with row-level security so you can only access your own couple's data.
- Google / Apple — only if you choose to sign in with them, to verify your identity.
- Our email server — to deliver invitations and partner notifications.
Data storage & security
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure and transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access is restricted by row-level security policies enforced at the database level.
Retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account in the app. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, check-ins, assessments, SOS sessions, saved articles, and your couple link. This action cannot be undone.
Children
Reditus is intended for adults (17+) and is not directed to children.
Not medical advice
Reditus is a wellbeing tool, not a medical or clinical service, and it is not a substitute for professional therapy. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services.
Your rights
You can access and update your information in the app, and delete your account and data at any time. For any privacy request, contact us at privacy@reditus-app.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
